In today’s climate of increased data sharing and numerous integration projects, it often feels like true MPI management and “control” is elusive.  It’s time to set priorities, realistic expectations and to get creative in our efforts to maintain a clean MPI to support positive patient identification and overall care coordination. Come and hear Sally Beahan (RHIA, MHA and Director of Health Information Management at University of Washington Medicine) and Karen Proffitt (MHIIM, RHIA, CHP and Vice President of Consulting Services at Just Associates) present "Leading MPI Management – Expanding Focus with ACO Data Integration and Data Warehouse Initiatives" where they will discuss Accountable Care MPI data management challenges and best practices. Sally and Karen will also share about one health system’s “real-life” examples, efforts and lessons learned in this area, while new Information Governance (IG) collaboration efforts around data warehouse patient matching will be discussed.
