Just Associates, Inc. completed an EMPI assessment and a data reconciliation ("clean up") project at this large, multi-hospital system. The client was in various stages of converting records from their legacy system and from a radiology information system. During the EMPI assessment, JA identified several issues that would have severely compromised their new EHR deployment. By thoroughly assessing their systems, JA discovered that data previously converted into their legacy system was not mapped correctly. JA also assisted with the proper configuration of the Millennium person record settings. JA assisted with improving operational processes as well, creating job descriptions, standardized naming conventions, search routines and providing training guidance related to patient access functions.
