Beth founded Just Associates in 2002. Previously, she held executive level positions at QuadraMed, Pyramid Health Group, New Era of Networks and Quality Visions, Inc, and has spent over 30 years in the HIM sector. She brings a unique blend of HIM experience and technical expertise in the area of database and software design and management and is well known in the HIM technical arena.
Beth's strengths include project management, business development, health care business and operations management, product management and financial management. Her use of pragmatic business techniques, technology know how and strong knowledge of the health care industry bring a unique value and quick return on investment to the clients she serves. She has completed hundreds of consulting engagements including MPI clean ups, Patient Access assessments, MPI assessments, HIM operational reviews and EMPI needs assessments and RFP development as well as software development, testing and implementation projects for healthcare organizations, multi-facility IDNs and RHIOs. She has served in several officer, board and chair positions for the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the Colorado Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) including contributing to the "HIM Principles in HIE" and "Patient Identity in RHOs" workgroups. She was appointed Co-Chair for AHIMA's Health Information Exchange Practice Council for 2008 and has served as president of the Colorado HIMA. Beth has also been a featured speaker at numerous State and National professional meetings including AHIMA, HIMSS and TEPR as well as software vendors' user group conferences (Cerner, Microsoft, IDX).
Beth has authored and has been quoted in articles published in The Journal of AHIMA, For the Record, Healthcare IT News and Modern Healthcare. She was the lead author on AHIMA's Practice Brief: HIM Principles in Health Information Exchange. Beth was recognized as the Colorado Health Information Management Association's "Distinguished Member. " She earned her Bachelor of Arts at College of Saint Scholastica and her Masters in Business Administration at the University of Colorado.
As Vice President of Data Integrity Services, Emilie oversees the day-to-day operations and staffing of Just Associates' Data Integrity and Master Person Index Services. Emilie has over 35 years of experience in healthcare management in a variety of healthcare settings. She has worked with clients assisting them to evaluate EMPI/MPI strategies and technology. She possesses strong project management skills and has successfully managed projects ranging from the selection and implementation of EMPI technology to MPI cleanup and MRN conversion projects. Emilie also possesses considerable experience in client management and has served in various roles for large IT vendors providing solutions to healthcare providers.
Emilie is a member of AHIMA, was president of the Delaware chapter of AHIMA from 1985 to 1986, and is currently President of the Maryland Health Information Management Association (June 2011- June 2012). She has also chaired numerous State committees. On a National level Emilie served as the Chairperson for the Council on Public Affairs and the Chair of the Ad-Hoc Task Force on the Prospective Payment System. She holds a B.S. in Health Information Management from York College of Pennsylvania.
As a senior health information management professional, Ms. Bock's background demonstrates a diverse blend of skills and expertise. Her strengths include project management, process development and execution and health care operational management. Her dedication to delivering value to clients is the focus that provides exceptional results in a myriad of settings. Ms. Bock's experience includes management level positions in QuadraMed, and Pyramid Health Group, as well as management of health information management departments within the acute care setting. Her experience also includes software development for person management tools. She has worked with all of the leading patient identification and matching algorithms including Initiate (Madison/IBM), QuadraMed, Sun, EPIC and Cerner.
Linda has been active in both state and regional Health Information Management professional organizations, serving as the Secretary of the Northern Colorado Health Information Management Association, and has served on the board of directors and various committees for the Colorado Health Information Management Association. She has presented at various state professional organization conferences.
Ms. Richardson is a Health Information Management professional with 17 years of HIM experience. Areas of focus have been primarily in systems and leadership which includes these roles: Record Management System Specialist, Master Patient Index Research and Development Product Consultant, Health Information Management Site Manager, Health Information Management Director and Privacy Officer.
Teri was a key team member in opening a premier hospital in Denver, CO, which had one of Colorado's first electronic records. After the successful implementation, she showcased it during the Colorado AHIMA conference in 2006. She also helped develop and execute an off-site record scanning and storage program to reduce operating costs and storage space. It was the first model of this type in Denver, and many other hospitals followed suit because of its success.
Ms. Richardson brings an IT perspective to product testing, training, QA, system implementation, and documentation writing. In addition, she has experience directing and managing large hospital departments including all aspects of Health Information Management. She is well versed in HIPAA regulations and has served as Privacy Officer at a major healthcare facility.
Teri is a member of AHIMA and CHIMA with a history of memberships with IHIMA and GHIMA. She has also been a board member of Greater Atlanta, Northeast Indiana and Northern Colorado AHIMA associations, and has presented at AHIMA state conferences and local meetings.
Cindy has over 20 years' experience in the healthcare field – 15 years specifically in HIM management positions from an urban, teaching facility to an acute-care, community hospital with responsibility overseeing all aspects of Health Information Management. Her recent experience has focused on MPI cleanup project management and Patient Identity consultation with Just Associates. She has served on the board of the Cuyahoga Community College Health Information Management program. She is currently a member of the MHIMA and AHIMA with prior membership in OHIMA.
